Job title: Senior Consultant - ITSM/ITIL Implementation Consultant Salary: tbc
This is an exceptional opportunity to work for the leading Australian IT services company as a Senior Consultant supporting a number of HP Service Manager 7 projects and clients. Sponsorship and Visa and relocation assistance provided.

The successful candidate will have deep demonstrable experience as a Consultant and a strong understanding of the IT Service Management processes and the ITIL Service Management framework.  The right candidate will be responsible for delivering successful ITSM implementation engagements. Primarily engagements will consist of implementing HP BTO Suite of products specifically HP Service Manager. Leading both global and domestic projects, the successful candidate will be accountable for customer satisfaction reflected through the quality of the implementations and the overall customer experience.

The role is based in the Sydney, NSW CBD and is a strategic position in the National ITSM Practice - it offers autonomy, leadership and the opportunity (but not compulsion) for regional travel.

Key skills & experience required or considered in the evaluation:-
  • HP Service Manager 7 experience is preferred but are also interested in meeting with candidates that have implemented Remedy, CA Service Desk, Service First, Heat etc
  • 3+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry; 3+ years of Consulting Experience on Enterprise level applications
  • ITIL V2 / V3 Foundations Certification at a minimum, ITIL Practitioner or Service manager would be extremely beneficial
  • Service Delivery experience
  • Process and service improvement and knowledge transfer skills
  • Change / Configuration Management skills, with the ability to document change / config strategies
  • Business Process reengineering
  • Formal methodologies and techniques for business process modelling and design
  • Knowledge/experience of Project Delivery Framework.
  • Proven experience leading, facilitating and documenting design workshops
  • Documentation of Business Requirements, Functional requirements
  • Support testing, create test objectives / cases
  • Ability to analyse operational requirements and assess solution requirements.
  • Development of system and process operating manuals
  • Prior administrative or implementation experience with Enterprise ITSM applications (preferably HP Service Manager)
  • Computing degree (BSc, MSc), or equivalent programming/system design experience
  • Strong technical background with the ability to discuss architecture, hardware & software
  • Practical development or scripting experience using VBScrpit, JavaScrpit, HTML or equivalent to support the technical areas of the implementation
  • Practical experience with relational databases: MSSQL, Oracle
  • Ability to take an analytical, detail orientated, approach and thought process to activities such as system analysis and data structuring
  • The ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into customer solutions
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight timescales, working independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
  • A Customer-orientated personality exhibiting professionalism and enthusiasm at all times with a "can do" attitude and alignment to a concept of "Team"
  • Strong Documentation skills
