3-day course for Practitioners who need to understand the requirements of the Standard and/or be able to demonstrate professional competence in order to perform consultancy assignments.
These courses are structured around the approved syllabus and meet the requirements for preparation for formal examination as a Practitioner.
The courses cover Parts 1 -5 of the Standard and include detailed examination of each part, discussions, exercises and exam practice. Copies of the Standard part 1 and Pocket Guide are included.
The exam paper consists of 4 questions each worth 20 marks, giving a total of 80 marks. The pass mark is 40 (50%).
All courses are led by accredited facilitators.
There is no pre-course reading.
Prerequisites - A candidate must hold one of the following certifications to qualify to sit the Practitioner examination:
- The APMG ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation, or
- The BCS ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation, or
- ITIL Foundation
At Practitioner level you should understand and be able to apply the content of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard within currently certified organizations or those considering certification.
